Word verification Balderdash (5)

This fun meme is hosted by Sheila over at One Persons Journey through a world of Books.
This is the weekly meme where anyone who wishes to play along can take those crazy word verifications they have had over the past week and apply a fake definition to them (much like how you play the board game Balderdash).

Here are this week's words, submitted to you forthfully:

chmari - noun - a mythical creature said to inhabit the mountain streams of Asia Minor; it has the head of a chinchilla and the tentacles of a squid

forthful - adjective - refers to a person who goes forth with great gusto

frandish - noun - a strawberry-banana-radish hybrid; this elongated fruit is red in colour and grows in bunches underground

mendigm - noun - a distinct belief held by women about men

pocha - noun - a tiny fairy that is found mostly in garment pockets; it can take on the form of fluffy lint to avoid detection

zingb - noun - a zing so extreme, it goes back around to the front of the alphabet and makes it all the way to "B"

  1. That is a fun meme ! I would love to taste a frandish one day...! I'm working on an experiment with the word verifications my commentators get when posting their comment. I've just started, but most people don't see the message asking them to mention the WV ! So I'll have to wait and see. Unfortunately I'm no pocha...
