In which I learn to pay more attention to release dates...

You know how I've been waiting for Hush, Hush to be released? Well, since it was being released today, I went to put my order in at Chapters (a Canadian online retailer) yesterday. There were some other books that I wanted that they had in stock, so I ordered from them instead of from Amazon.ca (Amazon.com's impotent younger brother). Anyway, what did I find when I went to order Hush, Hush? That I could have had it in my hands a couple of weeks earlier:

Argh. Oh, well. I'll be sure to check earlier next time. Sometimes (for some strange reason) we Canadians get some books earlier.

And... I got a little carried away at the "bookstore". But at least I'll have something in my mailbox this week (literally)...

  2. I hope you enjoy Hush Hush as much as I did! (plus I hope you like Patch-he's on of those characters you either really hate or really love... I hope it's the latter for ya :D)

  5. You are lucky to have books come out early. I wish I had that happen on the books I am biting my nails for. I have a few books that I keep checking just in case, of course they are not the ones to come out early. The early releases are the ones I want but can wait because I have to. Then I miss the release date and could have had it read. I am just now starting to get into this release date thing. I was reading series and books that had been out for a while, but now I am all into these current books. It is hard to keep track of them all.

  6. Hush Hush still isn't out in the UK. It is so annoying. I've preordered it from Amazon too but I am so impatient!

  7. Oh well at least you got your book - better late then never. I've yet to visit a book shop and not get carried away. I think they should have warning signs outside ' Warning this shop could seriously damage your bank account'.
