Honesty and Scrap Metal

And now for 10 honest things about me:

1. I hate cooked onions. I can't remember a time when I didn't.
   
2. When I get cold, my fingernails, toes, and lips turn blue. This led to me acquiring the nickname "blue giraffe" at summer camp one year after a dip in the lake. (The "giraffe" part was because I was skinny. I think.)
3. Impatience is something I need to work on. I wish I could be less impatient... now!
   
4. I once worked in a chocolate factory. It wasn't as magical as Roald Dahl would have you believe.
   
5. I have lived in Canada and the U.S.A., and have visited Tijuana, Mexico... but I've never been off the continent.
6. I prefer dogs to cats.
7. My favourite colour is purple.
8. I like Shirley Temple movies.
   
9. I love the misting kind of rain that we get here in the Pacific Northwest.
10. It bugs me when I see people give their kids intentionally misspelled names just to be trendy... which is kind of ironic, since my middle name could be considered a trendy misspelling!
