Monday's Question of the Day (2)

Monday's Question of the Day is hosted by Eleni at /-LA FEMME READERS-/

Question:
What book would you like to see turned into a movie, that hasn't yet?

My Answer: I had to think about this one for a while. It seems like so many books are being turned into movies these days! But I think I'd like to see Michael Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. I really enjoyed the book, and I think it would translate well to the big screen.

  1. Great question!

The one I can think of, which the movie rights have been bought, is The Hunger Games. I can't wait to see it in movie format. As long as they stay true to the book I'll love it. I finished Catching Fire just a few days ago so it's still very fresh on my mind. Can't wait for book three!

  2. I have never heard of this book.

I have thought of this question from time to time with some books I have read. The one book I would love to see as a movie, but I am not sure if some things would translate well from book to movie, would be Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. This would look a lot like a martial arts movie with all the wonderful acrobatic moves of the pushing and pulling "magic" system.

  4. I have heard nothing by great things of Hunger Games. I have the book here on my shelf and am planning on reading it here this month. Then with great hope I will be able to get to the next book next month.

I am really looking forward to Hunger Games with all the talk I have heard. It must be really good if it could work as a movie also!
