Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Today's Teaser:
The next year, I realized that life as Saffron Adams would have to be far more inconspicuous. I couldn't go around claiming to be a genius, and I couldn't go telling stories from history that I shouldn't know yet. I guess I realized that the more I said, the more chance I had of ruining everything I was working toward.

And speaking of teasers, PLEASE stop posting stuff about Maggie Stiefvater's Linger! I know it was on her site, but the new paragraph looks like it blows the ending for the first book, which some of us haven't read yet. Shiver has now been demoted to the bottom of my TBR pile, until I can either forget what I've read or until I've got nothing else to read.
There's a difference between a teaser and a spoiler. Unfortunately, when you're talking about the second book in a series, that distinction can get blurred.
I'm oddly obssesed with the name Saffron.
ReplyDeleteIt's a cool name, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteGood teaser. I followed the Amazon link to find out more about the book and it sounds very interesting.

Dust of 100 Dogs! I really liked that one! I think Seanie's so sweet :)
ReplyDeleteThis teaser is really good. I am wondering how this person knows things they aren't suppose to know yet.
ReplyDeleteIf you would like to stop by I have my teaser up...
