Monday's Question of the Day (13)

Monday's Question of the Day is hosted by Eleni at /-LA FEMME READERS-/

What's a great book you love, but don't like the cover of?

My Answer:
Usually, there will be an edition of a book that I love that has a decent cover. An example:

Fire and Hemlock

Pretty UK cover that makes sense!

Fugly US cover that makes no sense!
Who the heck is that old dude?

For some truly heinous covers, I suggest checking out Judge a Book by its Cover. They've found some doozies!

  1. Oh yeah, I totally agree - that second cover is terrible. I do love Diana Wynne Jones, though. Haven't read this one. :-(

  2. I agree, the US version is fugly, but the UK one is decent.

  3. Oooo good call.

The first that comes to my mind is Hunger Games. I love the book but the cover is just blah.

  4. Totally agree, that US cover is extremely fugly. Great link too. Who knew book covers could be so hilarious?!
