Top Ten Tuesday - Top Ten Fictional Crushes

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted at The Broke and the Bookish.

This week's topic is Top Ten Fictional Crushes.  (I actually did a similar post for Top Ten Picks, which you can see here.  It's been a while, though, and I've read more books, so I thought I'd update my list.)

9. Frederick Garland from The Ruby in the Smoke and The Shadow in the North by Philip Pullman

8. Argul from the Claidi Journals by Tanith Lee

7. Henry DeTamble from The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

6. Daniel from My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares

5. Tom from Fire and Hemlock by Diana Wynne Jones

4. the prince from The Light Princess by George MacDonald

3. Farhad from Tiger Moon by Antonia Michaelis

2. Gale from The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins

  2. Howl is a really fabulous character – so flawed and yet he has a good heart! Gotta love him :D

  4. So many books, so many crushes...and no similar choices. Weird. I thought I picked crushes that everyone had! Ha!

  5. Henry! Good choice! :) I always crushed on him but thought I'd be frustrated having him come and go.

    Thanks for participating!

  8. Except for your choice of the number 10 position, I cannot say if I like your list. But I do like Howl from Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones! Yes, in the beginning he's very grumpy and not the kindest person around, but it all changed near the end. I like that Howl is in your list. ;)

  9. I always think I read widely...and then I run across lists like yours where I draw a blank.
