In My Mailbox (29)

From Kobo:
Need
by Carrie Jones

Zara collects phobias the way other high school girls collect lipsticks. Little wonder, since life’s been pretty rough so far. Her father left, her stepfather just died, and her mother’s pretty much checked out. Now Zara’s living with her grandmother in sleepy, cold Maine so that she stays “safe.” Zara doesn’t think she’s in danger; she thinks her mother can’t deal.

Wrong. Turns out that guy she sees everywhere, the one leaving trails of gold glitter, isn’t a figment of her imagination. He’s a pixie — and not the cute, lovable kind with wings. He’s the kind who has dreadful, uncontrollable needs. And he’s trailing Zara.

I found this e-book for $1.99, and I just can't say "no" to a good bargain.  The TBR pile grows...

What was in your "mailbox" this week?

  1. I have this in my TBR pile as well. It sounds promising. :)

  2. Thanks for visiting e-Volving Books, I enjoyed reading your comments on Amazon and Calibre.
You pointed out Adobe Digital Editions - which I hadn't heard of before. I looked into it and it seems really useful for Nook. Does it work on other formats as well?
There are other features for Calibre that I'm just figuring out (like automatically downloading all your newsletter/subscription content for the kindle) and will write about that eventually.

I'm following you now, and looking through your site :)
