Ladies and gentlemen! Start your engines e-readers!
This challenge was previously hosted by Alaine at Queen of Happy Endings. When she started looking for new homes for the 2011 challenges, I jumped at the chance to host this one. Since getting a Kobo eReader this past year, I've started reading more e-books. Since e-readers are now available internationally, a lot more people are going to be reading books in digital format. So why not challenge yourself and read even more?
Challenge Guidelines:
1. Anyone can join. You don't need a blog to participate.
--Non-bloggers: Include your information in the comment section.
2. There are seven levels:
-- Curious – Read 3 e-books.
-- Fascinated – Read 6 e-books.
-- Addicted – Read 12 e-books.
-- Obsessed – Read 20 e-books.
-- Possessed – Read 50 e-books.
-- Fanatical – Read 75 e-books.
-- Monomaniacal – Read 100 e-books.
3. Any genre counts.
4. You can list your books in advance or just put them in a wrap-up post. If you list them, feel free to change them as the mood takes you.
5. Challenge begins January 1, 2011 and lasts until December 31, 2011.
6. When you sign up under Mr. Linky, put the direct link to your post about the E-Book Reading Challenge. Include the URL so that other participants can join in and read your reviews and post.
If you'd like some progress bars for your challenge post, you can find the instructions for making them here.
I've been waiting for this challenge. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting. I have 2 URL's regarding challenges. Today's post and for the duration of challenge and what I read will be posted here:
ReplyDeletehttp://cmashlovestoread.blogspot.com/2008/08/challenges.html.
I am totally signing up and will be doing the Obsessed Level.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on taking over as the Host.
Lovely, another challenge to add to my ever growing list! LOL Count me in. I will come back and link up as soon as I write my post.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! This will be my 4th challenge I will be signing up for this year, lol! This is perfect though because I read a lot of ebooks;)
ReplyDeleteAlright. I'm an idiot. Officially and totally. I e-mailed you about messing up my links. Too many pages open, not enough caffeine..blah. Dang. I'm doing the challenge because my Kindle skills generally are better than my linkage skills.
ReplyDeleteThe correct link is: http://basiabooks.blogspot.com/2010/12/2011-e-book-challenge.html
I will definitely be trying the Obsessed Level! I just love challenges! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI signed up all three of my blogs!
ReplyDeleteI want to do this, but posted the wrong link, any chance you can delete it and I'll post the correct one when I post - thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis actually sounds like an amazing challenge, but I already use my nook way too much! I don't think this would be challenging for me at all. ;) Still, I LOVE the idea. Good luck to all the participants.
ReplyDeleteI'll be in as soon as I can post the details on my blog (probably tomorrow) :))
ReplyDeleteI'm a new owner of a Nook Color, so I'm very excited about this challenge!
ReplyDeleteI'm Obsessed with e-books. Thanks for hosting this great challenge!
ReplyDeleteI think this will be the perfect challenge to really get me using my reader. I'm so excited to start.
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in. Color me obsessed.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great challenge! Thank you for hosting.
ReplyDeleteI am loving this challenged...and I think I will be totally OBSESSED with it...thanks for hosting!!!
ReplyDeleteIts about time that I got back into my ereader I think it is missing me.
ReplyDeleteI'm game on the Obessed Level.

If I want to participate and I don't want to use my blog (I'm thinking of discontinueing it) can I link to my goodreads?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the contest! My hubby will be delighted to know I'm doing an e-book focused contest this year and getting the most out of my Nook :B
ReplyDeleteRosalia, yes, that is fine. The point is to link people to your reviews, so a Goodreads link is okay if that's what you want to do.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking foward to participating in this book challenge. Thanks for hosting it! =)
ReplyDeleteI posted my link twice. Can you please delete the one that says "stella" and leave Chic Fit Geek?
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this. My very first and I can hardly wait!
ReplyDeleteI love my ebooks and will never give them up! Thanks for hosting this great challenge.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this! It's my first challenge. So! Fun!
ReplyDeleteI just got a Nook a month or so ago so this challenge will be great. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely feeling curious! :)
ReplyDeleteJust got my Nook in November. I can't wait to get this challenge started!
ReplyDeleteMy blog centers around ebooks and e-readers, so how could I miss this challenge? :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a blog post up yet, but will link to it from my main page.
I love my Nook which should make this challenge easy (I hope). I'm going for obsessed (20 ebooks).
ReplyDeleteI've been obsessed with my Nook since I got it in April so I signed up for obsessed.
ReplyDeleteHi all,
ReplyDeleteexcited abt taking up this challenge...
great blog i shud say...
hope every1 has fun in this reading marathon!!!
I've been waiting for this challenge. Thanks for hosting it.
ReplyDeleteThis will be my first challenge! I'm pretty dang excited, plus I just love my nook!
ReplyDeleteI'm signing up for the obsessed level. I'll (try) to post reviews here:
ReplyDeletehttp://asb0521.blogspot.com/2010/12/i-challenge-you-to-achallenge.html
Perfect challenge for me -- thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first ever Blog Challenge that I have sighed up for. I'm looking forward to kicking my New blog off in 2011 with my first reading blog challenge (and hopfully many more to come). I'm trying the Obsessed Level challenge. So Thanks for hosting and Happy Reading everyone.
ReplyDeleteI'm in, love it!
ReplyDeleteWill crossover challenges count? Like if I read an eBook, can I count it for this challenge as well as the 100+ books challenge for 2011? I know that one is allowing crossovers.
ReplyDeleteI didn't use my Kind;e like I thought I would last year, so this challenge should help me! Thanks for hosting it!
ReplyDelete@ aLmYbNeNr
ReplyDeleteYes, crossover challenges count.
Thanks for hosting this. I just bought a Nook & already in a one week I have already read 3 books. I am going to try for at least 20 next year.
ReplyDeleteI got a Kindle 2 weeks ago and I can't believe how much I'm using it. I'm looking forward to this challenge.
ReplyDeleteJaime (my fiancé until January 1st, then he'll be my husband!) got me the Barnes & Noble nook for Christmas and gave it to me a few weeks early! I've already gotten a good bit of use out of it and loaded some of the ebooks that I had sitting on my hard drive on it. :-D I don't think he wanted me hauling tons of "real" books with us on our wedding and honeymoon, so he made sure I got it early enough to load everything I would need on it.
ReplyDeleteSo far, I love it and can't wait to use it to participate in the challenge at the "obsessed" level. At the rate I'm going (and obviously not counting books before January 1st), I'll probably be done before the end of January...
I'd be happy to provide a free digital copy of my first novel for this challenge. Covert Youth Agency, The Case of Tangled Love, is about an elite group of nerds who fight injustices by running a clandestine operation in high school.
ReplyDeletePlease send me an email through my site stating that the book is for the challenge, and request the file format you want -- epub (Nook, iBooks), mobi (Kindle), or pdf format. I just ask that you keep the e-book to yourself, and not pass it along to everyone. Just click on my name on this post for the link.
I'd love it if you GFC me or follow me on Twitter.
Thanks,
Jason
Hmm, yeah. So, er.. as you've seen I have registered twice... *Blush*
ReplyDeleteI didn't put my URL right the first time - i read more than i write! :)
Anyways, I am very excited about the challenge because I am completely obsessed. :)
No problem, Sandy. I removed the broken link.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the challenge! :)
Looking forward to some new book challenges this year and hoping to keep up my reviews...Thanks for hosting the e-reader challenge. Just got my new reader and already am obsessed!
ReplyDeletehi La Coccinelle! now that i got my nook, i've signed up for the challenge as promised. have a most blessed New Year! c",)
ReplyDeleteLinked my post, I'm going with addicted level, thanks for hosting :)
ReplyDeleteSigned up for Addicted, but I'm hoping to reach Obsessed!
ReplyDeletehttp://book-chic.blogspot.com/2010/12/book-chicks-2011-challenge-sign-up-post.html
Reading to wear out my Kindle!
ReplyDeleteJust in time - I am totally in love with my eReader so am looking forward to spending the New Year with him :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this!
Thank you for hosting! I got a Nook Color for Christmas... Love it... since the kids are on winter break and sleeping in is allowed, Ive been up late every night reading... Trying to add books to my 2010 totals even though I didnt sign up for a challenge... 2011 I am soooo in! Im up to almost 50 I think, I would need a pen and piece of paper to be sure... I think I can do better though. Bring on obsessed!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosing this year!
ReplyDeleteI will go for the Fascinated level. Thanks for hosting this challenge!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the challenge - silly linky picked up an old entry but the link is correct
ReplyDeleteI love my Kobo!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting! I just on a Nook for Christmas and I can't wait to jump in with this challenge! Thanks so much for hosting! :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting! Can't wait - This is the one challenge I didn't have trouble with last year! Hope to read even more this year! I linked to my blog instead of a post because I will keep my book list and review links on my sidebar!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting. I'm not much into eBook/eAudios but just finished The Idiot on my computer. So let's give it a whirl & I'll do the 3 - curious level. The books I plan to do are:
ReplyDelete1. Gourmet Rhapsodies - Muriel Barbery eAudio
2. Meeting Jesus for the First Time - Marcus Borg eBook
3. The Food-Mood Solution - Jack Challem eBook
I've got my Kindle loaded and ready for this one. I'm ready for the 1st!
ReplyDeleteI just got my Nook Color and it's all loaded up! Ready to go!
ReplyDeleteI'm in! My Nook Color is ready to go!
ReplyDeleteMissM | The Sweet Escape
I am excited and can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting this challenge.
ReplyDeleteooo sounds fun! i have a feeling i will have no problem reading to "obsessed" ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this challenge!! I am excited about it and will link your site to mine for those wanting to join as well :D
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting this, its a great idea, though a little to easy for me, but I'm an avid reader. I met my 125 book challenge this past year.
ReplyDeleteThis year I don't think I'm going to have the time to read like that, so I'll count myself lucky to be able to read 20-30 books.
I already signed up for this and put the button on my blog, but I have a tiny problem. The button is a tad too wide for my side bar. Would you be okay with my shrinking it to a 150x150 button? I just wanted to run it by you, even though I can do it myself :)
ReplyDeletehttp://angelvelvet.blogspot.com
Thanks for hosting. With the e-books piling up this is a great challenge. I am shooting for the obsessed level.
ReplyDelete@ Ariel
ReplyDeleteYes, that is fine. There's also a 190x190 button in my sidebar that you can use, but if that's still too big, feel free to resize it.
Thank you for hosting! I have a huge virtual pile of ebooks on my kindle to get through. Signing up for the Fascinated level.
ReplyDeleteLove my Kindle....Love this Challenge. I'm obsessed! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI will try my luck at resizing the button tomorrow. It's a bit large for my sidebar.
Laurie
http://lauriethoughts-reviews.blogspot.com/
This may be a little like cheating, since I almost exclusively review ebooks, but I'm joining anyway ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm your newest follower as well!
Grace @ MotherLode blog
http://gracekrispy.blogspot.com
I'm shooting for obsessed. I usually shoot past 20 books a year, but it's still a mix of print and ebooks. 20 ebooks should be an interesting challenge.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting this.
Thanks for hosting this challenge. I just got a NOOK for Christmas and am excited to start using it!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!!
What a great idea...love books, love my kindle and glad to find so many others interested in this...looking forward to a great 2011...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun challenge! I need a good excuse to start hitting the Kindle again, and this works perfectly :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great challenge.
ReplyDeleteJennifer (An Abundance of Books)
Thank you SO much for hosting! I adored this challenge in 2010 (even though I failed), and I'm only more excited about it in 2011!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI'll go for 12, though still try and get 20!
Looking forward to this challenge. I'm incorporating it into my tbr challenge.
ReplyDeletePaula
Tomes Devotee
I have a Nook, but got an iPad for Christmas, so I'm in! Since the new year started, I've been buying, buying, and reading, reading, reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!
Dottie :)
I can't wait to do this, I love my Kindle and I love reading so here it goes:)
ReplyDeleteHaving Fun Blogging

http://mrsphilipswithonel.blogspot.com/
I will be doing this challenge but do not have a blog. I have a tumblr and will be posting the books I read and reviews of them. @ addicted2books1107.tumblr.com
ReplyDeleteJust bought myself a Nook for my birthday so I am so happy about this challenge. I am also looking forward to doing some book reviews which will be new for me this year. Happy reading!!
ReplyDeleteHoping this will encourage me to read some of the books I have loaded on my Kobo -- I'm signing up for the addicted level - thanks for hosting
ReplyDeleteJen
Hello, I am new to the site and to the challenges happening but this sound slike fun. I do not have a reader and I am not totally sure how to find EBooks but I will do my best to figure it out and read some as I have not before and it wold be differnt and fun.
ReplyDeleteGreetings.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an ereader, but I read a lot of the public domain books on Google (especially since I'm trying to go back and read the classics that I've never read but should have). Do those count?
@ LeviSamJuno
ReplyDeleteYes, free books on Google would count.
Personally I think all books, paper or ebooks should count. A book is a book no matter what form it is in.
ReplyDeleteOn another note I just finished a really incredible book to start my 2011 off with, "The Book Thief". This is a great piece of fiction that should be read by all.
@ Roy,
ReplyDeleteYes, a book is a book, but this is an e-book reading challenge. There are plenty of other challenges that aren't restricted to the digital format.
Thank you for hosting this! I am definitely in. I am going to try for the obsessed level, we will see how I do.
ReplyDeleteOne question though, do e-books from netGalley count?
@ Melissa
ReplyDeleteOf course NetGalley books count! What fun would that be otherwise?
Free or paid, library or store, galley or finished book, computer app or e-reader... If it's an e-book, it counts! :)
I'm going to be Obssesed Level considering last year I read over thirty..hehe.
ReplyDeleteI just signed up and will be going for the obsessed level. I have no idea how many books I read over the course of a year so this will be a good way to keep track.
ReplyDeletei just know i'm going to end up on the monomaniacal list, i read more ebooks now-a-days that actual books, which is great cause it saves trees and it's cheaper can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteI'm aiming for the addicted level. I don't own an e-reader, but I do have a smart phone with a Kindle app. There are many classics I haven't read, and since the e-classics are free from Amazon, that will be the focus of this challenge.
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to see just how many I do read in a year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this challenge! I am signing up for the Fascinated level. I am taking 2011 to read the published works of Jane Austen on my Nook.
ReplyDeletehttp://scarletpurls.blogspot.com
hi La Coccinelle! i posted the link to my first book review for the ebook challenge. thanks for replying to my email. have a good one! c",)
ReplyDeleteThank you for Hosting this challenge I am joining at the Fascinated Level.
ReplyDeleteI don't have my full list yet but you can see my progress at my website.
http://www.nearjah.com
Thanks for hosting this challenge. I just signed up at the "obsessed" level!
ReplyDeleteJust got a Kindle for Christmas, so this challenge is the perfect excuse to download more books! :D
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Will be posting on my blog site and encouraging others to join in
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting this! Follow my sign-up link to a post about it on my blog. Happy New Year and Happy E-Reading!
ReplyDeleteI love this challenge; thank you for hosting it. I'll grab your button and talk about what level I'm working toward (at least obsessed ;>) in my next reading post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this challenge.
ReplyDeleteGot my Sony Pocket Reader last year and am completely addicted to it!
I sign up for the Fanatical level, though hoping I will cross the Monomaniacal level. Its six days down in 2011 and I have nearly finished two books :) Man I am gonna love this one!
YYEEAA! I was looking for a good challenge for 2011!
ReplyDeleteAnd since I got a nook color for Christmas this one is perfect.
Also I love your blog, so i will keep it in my favorites and come back to visit.
I'm in! I will let you know when I link up. For now it's in my sidebar :)
ReplyDeleteGREAT challenge!
My reader should arrive by the end of the month, i can't believe there is a group and a challenge. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds pretty neat! Already into the first one! Yippie! Thanks for this awesome challenge!
ReplyDeleteI am new to challenges, so I hope I did this right!
ReplyDeleteI have joined this challenge, and will be posting titles as I finish. My goal is 100+ for the year, and I hope that I will meet that goal. My book list will be at this page
ReplyDeletehttp://nancyg1950.blogspot.com/p/2011-e-book-reading-challenge.html
My reviews will be on the main page of the same blog.
Decided to finally take the plunge and sign up for this one! Hoping it will help me get thru my eBook library instead of having them just sit there, gathering eDust! :D
ReplyDeleteI signed up before you changed the options, so I'm changing my 20 ebooks to Monomaniacal – Read 100 e-books!!! Bhah ha ha! I hope I can do it. I'm pretty sure I can :D
ReplyDeleteI am happy to join in! I found this thanks to the Nook group on Ravelry! http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/nifty-nook/1457023/1-25
ReplyDeleteI am going for 3 books, which will be 2 more than I read a year, and I am #246 to join in the fun!
Good luck everyone and to those aiming for the 100 read...O.O'...YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
Joining this one is a no-brainer for me. My hubby and I read a lot, not always the same type of books, but we're always reading.
ReplyDeleteI'll sign up for Addicted but aim for Obsesssed. The computer has been taking up too much of my time, and now I've found spinning yarn which is taking even more of my time~
I'm upping mine to "monomaniacal" and I'll probably bust through that level before the end of summer...
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting. I got a Kobo for Christmas and this gives me an excuse to get the most of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late in joining! My goal is to read 12 ebooks this year. I have quite a few books on my kindle already that I want to get to.
ReplyDeleteHere's the link to my post:
http://booksaremything.blogspot.com/2011/01/just-few-days-late-right.html
Awesome idea! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be participating!
I'm all linked up! This is my first year with thsi challenge so I started small - the Fascinated level.
ReplyDeleteHey I love this. Can you tell me where I can get the counter from.. I think this is so cool...
ReplyDelete@ Kitten's Reading Corner
ReplyDeleteThe counter? You mean the little bar that you use to track your progress? It's just a bit of HTML code. E-mail me if you'd like instructions (you're not the first person to ask)!
I've joined the gooreads book challenge at 100 books so I think I will also try this challenge at the Monomaniacal level! Love my nook and now absolutely love my nook color. Never thought that I would give up reading paper books but enjoy e-readers so much more! Especially since it syncs up across my nook color, iPad and iPhone and also my library system has so many e-books to borrow!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I hope that it'll be easier than I think. Although I'm reading tons!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting this awesome challenge. I got a Nook from a group of friends at the end of the year and this will be great for accomplishing my reading goals in 2011. Good luck to everyone!
ReplyDeleteI just signed up for this challenge. I'm really excited to start it!
ReplyDeleteVery cool ;) , right now i consider myself in Curious level, i read Cujo, Carrie and Pet sematary, all from Stephen King on my kindle 3
ReplyDeleteMy Kindle should arrive day after tomorrow (I love Amazon Prime!), and browsing Google's Kindle searches led me to the Challenge. I've posted my response on my blog and added it to the list.
ReplyDeletewhere do you put the information about how many books you have read?
ReplyDeleteI finished 12 books already and am charging through to monomental, let me know so I can link up all the reviews thanks
Umm
ReplyDeleteI just realized the first link up I have actually just goes to my webpage, I put up the second link awhile ago so you can take down the first one if you want thanks sorry
@ Aisha
ReplyDeleteThere is no place on this site to link up individual reviews. Just link to your challenge page (which probably has the links to your reviews).
Very excited about this! My challenge page is here: http://bookreviews.me.uk/2011-e-book-challenge/
ReplyDeleteJust joined in.

ReplyDeleteFUN! Here we go!
Hi! I'm julie and I'd like to sign up for the Posessed level!
ReplyDeleteYep - I'm obsessed with my Nook Color! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeletehi everyone! my 2nd post for the challenge is up at http://aobibliosphere.blogspot.com/2011/01/review-his-elle-by-jemima-valentino.html
ReplyDeletethe first one is at http://aobibliosphere.blogspot.com/2011/01/review-league-of-freaks-and-secret-key.html
thanks and have a good one! c",)
I am totally excited to sign up for this. I am both an e-book and real book reader but I want to use my Kindle more often. I hope the two books I have already read count (they were both read after 2011 started). If they do I am somewhere between obsessed and possessed but this summer should help me get to possessed (I am a teacher and summers are my big reading times). Check me out on my blog if you want to learn about what I am reading. I need to get to posting that too... Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDelete~Boupie
This is terrific! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge. I'm going to do obsessed. I just got a Kindle. I'm excited.
ReplyDeleteDoing Fanatical but I will probably reach monomanaical. Love my Nook-work in a library with downloadable ebooks. Netgalley has also been great!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I messed up the link the first time, but I think I got it right now. So excited to participate in the challenge.
ReplyDeleteIf it is not too late, I will join at a fascinated level. Thank you.
ReplyDeletei'm 15 ebooks away from my goal! just posted my 5th review for the challenge http://aobibliosphere.blogspot.com/2011/02/review-other-boyfriend-by-sylvia.html c",)
ReplyDeleteI'm on book 5, so I've achieved "curious" and am fast approaching "fascinated". :)
ReplyDeleteWhy not? I'm loving my Eco Reader and have already read 4 books since Christmas! I think I'll try for 20 e-books this year. xx
ReplyDeleteFinally signing up! Didn't think I'd love my Kobo as much as I do :P
ReplyDeleteAwesome challenge! I got a Kindle for Christmas, and it's one of the best presents I've ever got! Plus, loads of free books!
ReplyDeleteI am definately signing up.
hi! please delete entry 318 as it leads to a different URL. it's not my post. i must have pressed something. i don't know what. sorry!
ReplyDeleteI am excited to do the challenge. I have added my link.
ReplyDeleteApril
This looks really fun! I just got my kindle for Valentines, so I will deff participate :D
ReplyDeleteI've just joined your reading challenge. Should be lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteHeya! Just joined - how do I get the counter for my blog?
ReplyDeletexoxo
Love this challenge. Posted a listing of what I've read in E-Book Form on My Website. Now how do I get the counter as well.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to start this!!
ReplyDeleteI've signed up for the Fascinated level and am promoting on my blog as well - alchemyofscrawl.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHere's the Link To The E-Book Challenge:
ReplyDeletehttp://livredeamour.wordpress.com/2011/03/05/the-e-book-reading-challenge/
I am all signed up. How do you pick what level you want?
ReplyDeleteNow this sounds like an awesome challenge. Count me in! I have a Nook that I just love and have read 3 books on it since January with definite plans to read more. I'm unsure as to what level of commitment I'll do right now, so I'm just going to go with it and see where I wind up. I am also adding your blog to my blogs followed queue.
ReplyDeleteI just found your awesome blog & I've signed up for the challenge!
ReplyDeletehi! i accidentally pasted the link to this challenge instead of my post's. i'm so sorry. please delete entry 334. 335 is correct. thanks! c",)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to participating in this challenge! I've got some fun E-books lined up to read. :)
ReplyDelete@ aobibliophile™
ReplyDeleteThis is actually just a sign-up page, so I'm going to delete the individual book review entries (I'll leave your original sign-up link, though). I'd like to be able to get an accurate count of how many people are participating in the challenge, and it's a bit difficult if there are multiple entries per person.
Just discovered this challenge on someone's blog. Even though I'm late to join, ready to go!
ReplyDeleteJust saw this challenge somewhere else, had to join in!
ReplyDeleteLove my Nook! (Christmas present from my son.) Looking forward to giving it a workout!
ReplyDeletebetter late than never so am entering my URL for most challenges and URL for blog I use for reading and books - happy reading everyone
ReplyDeletethis looks like fun. I bought myself a Nookcolor and have read only 2 ebooks so far. Looking forward to reading more free ebooks and some from the library.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to break in my Kindle with this challenge!! Thanks so much for hosting :)
ReplyDeleteSo far, so good! I've ready 31 of my desired 100 books. I haven't done a post listing them all, as every book on my blog is actually a digital version except for one (and now that one's available digitally as well). So all one needs to do is check out my blog to see what I've read ;)
ReplyDeleteHow fun is this? I'm a newbie blogger and I've signed up.
ReplyDeleteDoes size matter? As long as they have an isbn number?
ReplyDeleteJoining late (will link in a bit) but I don't know what level to choose if my short stories don't count.
@ Book Dragon,
ReplyDeleteNo, size doesn't matter. A short book is okay, as long as it's actually a "book" (like you said, as long as it has its own ISBN number).
The first book on my list was a children's book that was only 20-something pages... so who am I to judge?
This is the first challenge I am participating in.Hope it goes good. Thanks a lot for hosting it!!!
ReplyDeletehi La Coccinelle! i have 3 ebooks to read and review and i'm done with the challenge! woo hoo! c",)
ReplyDeleteDecided to finally sign up. Already at Addicted level!
ReplyDeleteAlready at addicted level - great to find this challenge! Love my Kindle and read everything on it so this should be great. Shah at wordsinsync.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteYay! I just completed this challenge and it was so much fun. I posted my wrap up here...
ReplyDeletehttp://socratesbookreviews.blogspot.com/2011/03/2011-e-book-challenge-wrap-up.html
two more to be Obsessed! yay! c",)
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if you could do a post at the beginning of every month asking everyone to leave a comment of the ebooks they have read that month. It would give everyone some ideas of what everyone is reading.
ReplyDeleteNetGalley books count? Oops! forgot to include several....
ReplyDelete*wanders off to update the page*
My direct page is at e-Volving Books
Would you please update the corresponding link as well? I'm #78.

Just found this...I love my Kindle!!! I'm joining at the Monomaniacal – Read 100 e-books level. Not sure whether I should count from Jan 1 or start from where I am...although it probably doesn't matter since I've already read 87 ebooks this year.
