C is for being caring in everything you do.
D is for dear ones who mean the world to you.

(synopsis from Goodreads)

First of all, ignore the sample in Goodreads's synopsis. It's not accurate, and it makes the book sound clunky and badly written. It's not. This is actually a charming, rhyming alphabet book that's perfect for every day of the year.

Each letter accompanies a different value or concept. The pages are illustrated with various animals who all appear to be friends. The whole thing is pretty cute.

If I have one complaint, it's that the words that start with the letters of the alphabet are not differentiated enough from the rest of the text. They're slightly bigger, but it's too subtle. For the age group this book is aimed at, it needs to be a bit clearer.

But, overall, this is a lovely little book. It would be a nice one to read at bedtime, or anytime we might need a reminder about what's really important.
