(synopsis from Goodreads)

This is a totally adorable non-fiction title all about how to throw a fancy tea party. Nancy has lots of good (and totally doable) ideas for making the occasion special. Everything from basic etiquette to decorating to recipes is covered. (I especially like Nancy's mention of how Frenchy might love to join in the festivities, but she can't eat the food because some of it--especially chocolate--isn't good for dogs.)

The pictures are cute (as always) and this book has plenty of good ideas in it. Nancy even has instructions for throwing a tea party for your dolls. There are apparently some recipe cards in the back (perhaps blank?) but our library copy had them torn out along the perforations. I'm guessing they're just as fancy as everything else in the book, though.

I would've loved to receive a book like this when I was little. And I wouldn't hesitate to give it to a child who I thought would appreciate it. It's too cute to pass up!
