The State of the TBR Pile

Thanks to Amazon's Deals Store and Riffle's Select program, my TBR pile has grown in recent months.  And on top of that, I can't seem to stay away from the library, either!  It's getting a bit ridiculous.  At least NetGalley isn't approving me for anything; then I'd be in even more trouble...

I've been trying to keep track of what books are in my TBR pile with the In My Mailbox feature... but not all of my books are listed there.  Some where bought (or gotten for free) during a blogging lull so they weren't recorded in the IMM meme.  So I thought I'd list what I've got that needs to be read.  I also wanted to ask for a bit of advice (since I haven't had the best luck lately with my book choices).  Are there any books in my TBR pile that I absolutely must read right now because they're so unbelievably awesome?  Are there any that I should just not bother with at all?  Let me know in the comments!

  1. I've been DYING to read The Book Thief! Oh my god, it looks so good. I mean... It's narrated by Death. It HAS to be good.

Also, I'm reading Crescendo right now. It's... amazing. Although you might be a little disappointed once Patch's real name is revealed. Oh well... he's still to die for!

  2. I keep track of my tbr list over on Goodreads, and I have 248 books on my tbr list right now, and it grows daily, lol. Under the Never Sky, by Veronica Rossi is a really good book :)

  3. You totally need to bump PLAIN KATE up in your queue - I absolutely loved that one and her Sorrow's Knot.

Personally I couldn't get very far into THE BOOK THIEF and decided not to continue.

I didn't like CREWEL very much at all. LEVIATHAN was really cool steampunk YA and hmmm what else. I enjoyed INCARNATE ...

oh wait THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL!!! One of my favs from last year! I have an interview with the author going up soon too - I'm reading the second book now!
