Top Ten Tuesday is hosted at The Broke and the Bookish.
This week's topic is Top Ten Books On My Spring 2014 TBR List. I've been purchasing quite a few (i.e., too many) discounted books since I found out about Amazon's Deals Store and the Riffle Select program. So most of these books were $2.99 or less; I just can't say no to inexpensive books! (These are in alphabetical order; I don't know in which order I'll read them yet!):
Backwards by Todd Mitchell
Feed by M. T. Anderson
Girl Parts by John M. Cusick
The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani
The Shadow Society by Marie Rutkoski
Splintered by A. G. Howard
Surrender by Sonya Hartnett
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
The Uninvited by Tim Wynne-Jones
The Winter Witch by Paula Brackston
Feed has been on my TBR list for years now. Maybe we'll both get to it this year.
ReplyDeleteNice list here! I've always wanted to read Splintered, just because of its pretty cover. Hope you like The Uglies as well.
ReplyDeleteSplintered is one of my all time favorite reads, it is so weird and creepy and awesome! Hope you enjoy your spring reads!

I hope you do read The School for Good and Evil. It was one of my surprises in 2013. I didn't expect to love it at all, as the cover screamed children and fluff and all that, but it totally knocked the socks out of my feet. Not only was it so cute, it was also complex. Cute? Complex? Two polarizing adjectives describing a book? Crazy, right? But it's true! :)) I hope you read it soon and get the sequel which is due out on April 15 :) They're both intense!
ReplyDeleteHave fun reading!

Uglies was great, the whole series. I hope you like it! I've seen The School of Good and Evil around quite a bit, but I don't know much about it.
