It's gotten weaker a...The beginning is strong. It's gotten weaker as it's gone along, though; it's both too "young" and too "old" (if that makes sense). It's writing is way too simple for my taste though, but it is a middle grade so we have to put that in mind. I stopped reading it though, because I was in a slump because of contemporaries, so I needed a pick me up.
